WTF? Is Camouflage the New Black? These Exotic Car Owners Seem to Think So…

Camouflage Ferrari 599 GTB

It just seems like the young, hip multi-millionaire has life so tough these days. After all, it’s no longer enough to simply own an exotic car that 99.9% of the population will never be able to afford, let alone purchase. You have to add some style and flare and keep up with all of the other ballers out there. And after flipping through the traditional supercar color palette of metallic reds, blues and yellows, you may be looking for a little more edge. Well, someone first came up with the idea, and then someone else decided it was cool, and then everyone and their mother jumped on board. And now we have a bunch of fatigued-out sport cars spotted all over the globe.

Let’s start with our first offender. Above we have a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano spotted on Croisette boulevard in the French seaside town of Cannes. This beauty almost blended right into the landscape in its ultra low-key camouflage wrap. It’d been a shame if someone didn’t see it sitting there and tried to parallel park in its side. Surely I jest, but with the beige wheels, the execution is pretty flawless…

Next up, we have a Bentley Continental GT spotted on the streets of Berlin, probably about to get ready for a little hunting trip. However, if this discerning driver is looking not to stand out, maybe they should learn how to correctly place their ride in an open spot and not in the middle of the block. You have to think that for $200,000 that thing comes with some sort of automated parking assist, no?

And finally, we actually have a vehicle that makes some sense (some). You may not agree with the color scheme, but this 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing from A Bathing Ape fashion house owner Nigo, definitely follows his clothing label’s motif. And I must admit, it is pretty damn cool. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the Pepto pink Bugatti Veyron he had customized back in 2006 which made us all want to hurl. Nigo did keep the Bugatti two-tone vibe but the presentation is so aweful it’s hard to look at it… Close your browser window, now!
