Vorsteiner Rolls out its New BMW M6 Restyling Package

The new BMW M6 is not a desirable car; it’s a desirable family of cars. The sharp-looking Coupe, the summertime-ready Convertible, and the practical (if bizarre) GranCoupe are all powered by a high-output 4.4L twin-turbo V8 and ride on much more performance-oriented chassis components than their standard 6 Series counterparts. Oh, and they have slightly more muscular exteriors than the regular 6ers.

But while some people appreciate the M6’s somewhat under-the-radar appearance, others are more interested in advertising these 560 horsepower grand tourers’ sporting potential. It is this latter group that will be interested in a new styling package for all three body styles from Vorsteiner.

Up front, there’s a splitter/lip spoiler that fits over the stock front bumper to add visual panache and downforce. Both the left and right sides receive side skirt extensions. There’s a subtle spoiler atop the trunklid. And there’s a diffuser that fits over (horizontally) and below (vertically) the stock rear bumper for added style and airflow management. All the aero parts are made of unpainted carbon fiber, and look the business.

And you know what else looks the business? Those wheels. They’re Vorsteiner’s own VSE-003 10-spoke forged monoblocks, and they measure 21-inches across. Their dark graphite finish matches up nicely with the carbon fiber components, and both the wheels and the aero parts contrast quite nicely with the white body of the M6 Coupe pictured here.

No word yet on how much all these pieces of Bimmer body jewelry will cost, but Vorsteiner does say they are available for ordering. So don’t just sit there, new M6 owners! Get on the horn with your nearest Vorsteiner dealer and get your Bavarian bruiser some extra street cred!
