Vorsteiner Adds the McLaren MP4-VX to Their Impressive Resume
Last night American tuner Vorsteinerintroduced the McLaren MP4-VX, an impressive upgrade to the arguably pedestrian looking MP4-12C. In a special exclusive premier at the company’s Garden Grove headquarters, attendees were treated to delicious hors d’oeuvres and adult beverages while waiting for the unveiling. Vorsteiner provided not just one but two McLarens showing their latest offering – one located inside their ridiculously swank facility and one parked just in front.
The package focuses on styling only, but the offering is extensive and compelling. Each body kit piece is made out of the latest and greatest dry carbon fiber technology with Kevlar reinforced composite strategically applied.
The various bits include a new front bumper with dual air ducts and side ventilation louvres, an add-on front spoiler, a rear bumper with dual ventilation louvres and center vent opening, a rear diffuser with integrated dual diffuser tunnels and a 4-part side skirt blade with floating fins.
Vorsteiner constructed the package both for improved airflow dynamics as well as to give the McLaren a much edgier look. Ground clearance is still optimized for everyday drivability.
The MP4-VX program also provides 1-piece aluminum forged wheels measuring 20x9J up front and 21x12J in the rear. Overall, this is yet another solid offering from Vorsteiner and we look forward to see which vehicle they decide to tackle next.
