VIDEO: Two Muscular Swedes Square off in Latest Volvo Trucks Promo

Volvo Trucks (which hasn’t been under the same corporate umbrella as the car division since 1999) have been releasing some clever (and maybe a little zany) promotional videos lately. But as outrageous as Jean-Claude van Damme’s split between two reversing rigs was, we think this video might have him beat. In it, English racecar driver turned TV host Tiff Needell travels to a racing circuit in Sweden, where he meets up with two Swedish vehicles: A Volvo FH-series single-axle tractor equipped with the company’s new car-style dual-clutch transmission, and, well…a Koenigsegg One:1, the nuttiest hypercar yet to come from that firm.

The challenge, as it were, is to see if Needell (and the Volvo Trucks PR guy riding shotgun) can complete one lap of the course before the Koenigsegg (driven by the company’s chief test driver) can do two laps. So, which vehicle came out on top? You’re going to have to watch to find out, vän…
