VIDEO: 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is a Test Track Tyrant

The automotive press recently got its first crack at the new 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 recently (We would have been there to bring you a full test drive/review, but apparently a postal worker used our invitation to spit out his or her gum.) and, as you’d expect from something with a 650 horsepower supercharged V8 and optional, just-streetworthy-enough-to-placate-USDOT Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, it’s capable of putting up some nutty numbers. Carlos Lago and the Motor Trend video crew sampled the latest alpha-Vette at the Chevrolet-hosted event at Road Atlanta, as well as the outlet’s local (to them and us) test facility, Auto Club Speedway. It looks like Ferrari, McLaren, Porsche and other apex predators of the supercar world would be wise to get their wares gym memberships…
