Sunseeker 76 is a Big British Dreamboat

While the south coast of England might lack the French Riviera’s frequently-sublime weather and high concentration of plutocrats, that doesn’t mean the folks at Sunseeker – located in Poole, Dorset – are less proficient at building luxury yachts that are big on size, style and price. The company’s latest offering, the 76 (which, not coincidentally, is also its length in feet), should be indisputable proof of that.

Its well-appointed and space-efficient foredeck wouldn’t be out of place aboard a much larger boat, while the open floorplan main deck features lots of natural light from the abundant windows, silver oak woodwork, wenge hardwood floors, double lounges and an amidships galley. Venture below and you’ll find sleeping accommodations that are just as airy and inviting, while deep in the stern there’s an engine room occupied by a pair of 1,550 horsepower MAN engines capable of pushing the Sunseeker 76 to a top speed of 32 knots or deliver a 400 nautical mile range at a more relaxed cruising speed. Sounds jolly good to us.
