The folks designing and engineering this archetypal mid-sizeMercedesall those years ago probably never envisioned some Californian namedNoel Descargarwould buy one (a1990 300E, specifically) used, drop the ride height to an ant-decapitating level, stuff the fenders full of elephantine3-piece AMG wheels, and dial in massive negative camber to make a four-wheeled fashion statement. And yet, that’s exactly what happened. Kinda makes you wonder what unexpected customization crazes reside in the future, doesn’t it?
