Schmidt Revolution Audi RS6 is a Practical Powerhouse
Oh, high performance station wagons. Can you be any more awesome? Well, if you ask most tuners, the answer is a resounding “Yes!” And Schmidt Revolution – the divisionof Volker Schmidt GmbH based in the northern German town of Bad Segeberg – has issued an affirmative response in the form of a hopped-up Audi RS6.
In addition to the striking “cubist camo” vinyl wrap, the exterior also gets a set of Schmidt Revolution’s own XS5 three-piece wheels (measuring 10.5”x21”) wearing high performance Continental tires, plus a lower ride height thanks to a KW coilover kit. Pop the hood and you’ll find further enhancements like an ECU tune and a stainless steel sport exhaust system with bypass valves that lifts output of this alread-amazeballs Audi‘s4.0L twin-turbo V8 to 671 horsepower. Neither Schmidt Revolution nor its partner on this project, BEST Cars and Bikes, is quoting any performance figures, but they are quick to point out that the tires are certified up to 205 mph. Interpret that how you will…
