Romeo Ferraris Ciquone Qatar is a Flashy 500 Abarth

Usually, when building a super blinged-out vehicle for a customer, tuners start with a high end vehicle. However, some plutocrats want a lavishly appointed vehicle from a blue collar brand, and the aftermarket will deliver if they wave a big enough checkbook. Case-in-point: A Fiat 500 Abarth modified by Romeo Ferraris that’s part track toy, part rolling lounge for Qatari sheikhs, and (almost) all outrageous.

Starting with a Fiat 500 Abarth, the Romeo Ferraris crew discarded many of the stock exterior body panels and bumpers, replacing them with parts that comprise a very aggressive widebody kit. However, the white paint makes the overall outward appearance a lot more subdued than it would be otherwise. Climb aboard, though, and things are anything but subdued, with acres of white leather and Alcantara adorning the dashboard, door panels, seats, and even the bars of the roll cage, while the top of the dash is trimmed in burgundy Alcantara and many of the switch and button bezels have been gold plated. The Ciquone Qatar (as this little rolling contradiction has been named) also features a couple of ornate drink flutes perched in the center console(!) and what appears to be either a fire extinguisher or nitrous bottle in the cargo area, the latter of which would make a sizable contribution to the 1.4L turbocharged inline-four’s 248 horsepower and 221 lb.-ft of torque. We’re sure Romeo Ferraris would gladly build you one of these (or something similar)…for the right price…
