Reverse Auto Photography Featuring Backwards Cars. Mind = Blown [17 Pics]

Photoshop is a tool that can alter reality in some amazing ways. When it comes to automotive photography, in traditional uses it can enhance and beautify the standard car shot. But when it’s used for truly creative purposes, it can blow your mind. The photos seen here all look common enough at quick glance, but once you take a closer peak you realize something is very off. At first you can’t put your finger on it and then it dawns on your that these are cars where the roof has been sliced off, flipped over and slapped back on. 

Autoblog recently had a ‘photo of the day’ incorporating this concept on their Facebook page. The folks over at the Final Gear Forums took this idea and went Photoshop crazy, generating a host of their own creations. We’ve included 17 of the best images for your viewing pleasure, but you can be sure tons more will continue to pop up. And if you are so inclined, give it a try yourself. You don’t need CS5 to make a go of it, any decent tool should more or less do the trick if you’ve got the chops.
