RENNtech Range Rover Vogue Supercharged is a Badder Boosted Box
Lots of you are probably familiar with U.S.-based tuner RENNtech, right? They concentrate on imparting some extra ‘tude upon Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG products. Lately, though, RENNtech has been working to broaden its horizons, and the Range Rover Vogue Supercharged you see here is the result of that branching out initiative.
RENNtech didn’t really change anything on the exterior besides fitting a set of the 22” Deep Monolite 10 wheels it commissions ADV.1 Wheels to manufacture for it, and there isn’t a whole lot different under the skin, either, with a stainless steel sport muffler and a $3,980 (plus tax and shipping) RENNtech R1 Performance Package (comprised of an ECU reprogram and a larger crankshaft pulley) rounding out the powertrain changes. However, they’re enough to bump the supercharged 5.0L V8’s output to 570 horsepower and 596 lb.-ft of torque. That still might not be enough to smoke some stock super SUVs, but if you want a 4×4 that’s quick but does without any of the boy racer exterior and interior tchotchkes, RENNtech’s wares provide a mighty compelling compromise.
