Piecha Design Jaguar F-Type Roadster Looks Peachy
Considering the F-Type’s status as the first mass-produced Jaguar sports car in more than a generation, it shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that the automotive aftermarket has really embraced it. German tuner Piecha Design is just the latest name to throw its hat into the ring by announcing the aesthetic modifications for the Jaguar F-Type Roadster you see here.
In addition to the snazzy body kit (with a new front splitter, rear diffuser, side skirts with white LEDs to illuminate the ground and an enlarged rear spoiler that installs behind the stock pop-up unit), Piecha Design also offers a set of lowering springs that reduce ride height by 1.2”, a sport exhaust system with four 3.5” tips, and Piecha Design MP1 monoblock wheels. The company doesn’t sell any engine or drivetrain upgrades, but considering the V8-powered F-Type V8 S Roadster and R Roadster already have a fair amount of trouble putting all that punch to the pavement (The new 2016 R’s standard AWD should fix that.), that might not be such a bad thing.
