Novitec Torado Gives the Lamborghini Huracan a Kick in the Rear (Drive) [w/ Video]

Even though the Lamborghini Huracan is a brilliant car, there will always be those who feel it’s too straight-laced and sterile with its all-wheel-drive and dual-clutch gearbox. It is for those people that Lamborghini now builds the Huracan LP580-2 which, while still lacking a manual transmission, is rear-wheel-drive for maximum tail-out for Hamarbe hoonage capabilities. On second, thought, it’s not quite attaining maximum hoonage potential, since the 5.2L V10 is slightly de-tuned in this application. Fortunately, Novitec Torado has a fix for that and many of the 2-wheel-squeal Huracan’s other shortcomings.

As one would expect from a Novitec Group vehicle, there’s an aggressive but tasteful body kit – finished mostly in clear-coated carbon fiber – present on the exterior, as well as a set of Novitec’s own wheels (20” fronts, 21” rears) wearing Pirelli P-Zero tires and a coilover suspension kit. Those big sticky tires and suspension upgrades are needed, especially at the rear, since Novitec Torado offers a variety of engine enhancements, up to and including a supercharger, that elevate output to as much as 848 horsepower. Yeah, you’ll definitely want to treat the accelerator pedal like a doomsday device.
