Novitec Torado Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is a Tasty Toupee Ripper-Offer [w/Video]

In today’s new car market, you can’t go much bolder than the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster. And if you want to go bolder yet, the Novitec Group – specifically, Novitec Torado, the company’s new all-Lambos-all-the-time brand – has means for making it impossible to ignore. A new front fascia, side skirts and rear diffuser jut out from the Lamborghini’s factory lines, and a fixed rear wing stands proud atop the rear deck.

It’s natural to assume the rear wing is mounted fairly high up for aerodynamic reasons, but it could also be to keep it away from the tuned 6.5L V12 below and to the front of it. Novitec Torado offers two stages of engine upgrades: Stage 1 uses anECU remap and an ultra-low-restriction exhaust system to uncork 738 horsepower and 533 lb.-ft of torque, while Stage 2 adds two superchargers and an intercooler to the mix to conjure 956 horsepower and 673 lb.-ft. Novitec says the latter setup is sufficient to blast to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds, or almost fast enough to outrun your mail carrier when he or she brings you your sure-to-be-mammoth credit card bill.
