
The limited production Lotus Project Eagle will be available in the Spring of 2009 as the Evora. This new car which will be a mid-engine variation using Toyota’s 3.5-liter V-6. It will be tuned by Lotus to produce 276 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque. 0 to 60 should take less than 5 seconds. The 2+2 configuration will allow two adults to be seated confortably up front with possibly two small children or some bags of groceries in rear.
The interior will be more refined and offer some high-tech niceties. Besides AC and leather seats, the Evora will have a Alpine audio and nav system with bluetooth, include a tire-pressure monitoring system, backup camera and next-generation LED lights
