Monday Matinee: Koenigsegg Agera R vs. Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Showdown is Amazing

Back in December, we brought you video of an incredible high speed test track battle between a Porsche 918 Spyder and a Koenigsegg Agera R that was (partly) shot in 4K HD by Gustav Traff and his associates at GTBOARD.com. The Porsche easily darted out to an early lead thanks to its AWD traction and instantaneous electric motor torque, but it didn’t take long for the four-wheeled Hammer of Thor Koenigsegg to reel it in and leave it in its wake. But how would the 918’s French cousin, the Bugatti Veyron fare against the Swedish streak?

Well, Gustav and friends took to the same German test oval with the same Agera R and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. And while the winner might surprise you (or not, if you crunched all the numbers), it’s no surprise that the resulting 18 minutes (with an s-bomb repeated twice, so be forewarned if you plan on watching sans headphones) is a beautiful orgy of engine noise, wind noise, acceleration and hot, nasty speed.
