Miss Tuning 2014 Calendar Turns up the Heat with Leonie Hagmeyer-Reyinger

The end of the year is fast approaching, so it’s time to start thinking about getting a new calendar for the new year. And while there’s nothing inherently wrong with slapping a dozen months worth of pug puppies or Dilbert strips on your wall, we prefer to mark the passage of our next lap of the sun with things that kiss up to our Y chromosome. Cool cars certainly meet that criteria; so do beautiful women. Thankfully, there are many calendars published each year that incorporate both.

And the calendars that combine these two loves of ours better than most are made by the fine folks that put on Tuning World Bodensee, one of the biggest and best annual tuner car shows in Western Europe. And each year, they star the fine Fräulein who won the previous year’s Miss Tuning pageant. This time around, it’s a statuesque blonde named Leonie Hagmeyer-Reyinger.

Leonie hails from the quiet hamlet of Schlier, which is a short drive north of the Bodensee (Lake Constance to us English speakers) in the German state of Baden-Wurttemberg. However, she and the production team traveled a bit farther afield – specifically, Budapest, Hungary – to shoot the 2014 Miss Tuning Calendar. And they did so with some sweet rides, like a Volkswagen Corrado, a late-‘70s Chevrolet Corvette with period-appropriate slotted wheels and raked stance, and a stunning Datsun 260Z with a VQ35 engine swapped in.
