MEC Design Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabrio is Dressed to the Nines

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet doesn’t have much company in its segment at the moment; its only direct competition to speak of is the BMW 6-Series ragtop, and there’s no AMG-fortified E63 convertible to lock horns with the M6 Cabrio, so it would be understandable if the aftermarket turned up its collective nose at this country club mainstay. Thankfully, there’s at least one tunerMEC Design – that’s showing the facelifted version of the outgoing E-Class Cabriolet and Coupe (internally designated A207 and C207, respectively) some love in the form of the bodacious Cerberus body kit seen here.  And if you’re so inclined, MEC Design will also re-upholster the interior, fit fatter wheels and tires, and install one of its savage-sounding “Earthquake” stainless steel mufflers. The valets might get a kick out of it, but probably not your racquetball partner.
