Mansory Porsche Panamera Turbo is a Nuclear Assault on the Senses

Regardless of where you stand on the mere idea of a hatchback sedan (never mind one with love-it-or-loath-it styling) built by Porsche, there’s no denying that the Panamera is helping the storied Stuttgart marque reach demographics that heretofore would have never bought a Porsche, even if they had the monetary means. The recent introduction of the lower-priced, more fuel efficient V6 version will only further broaden the company’s customer base.

Of course, more Panameras on the road also means it’s harder to make yours stand out from the herd. What’s a nonconformist to do? Well, if you want to go all out as far as personalizing your Panamera (or any car or truck, for that matter), you send it to a tuning house. And if you want to make absolutely sure your ride will stand out, the tuning house you send it to is Mansory.

As you can see from these photos, Mansory’s take on the Panamera Turbo definitely stands out, and then some. From the unpainted carbon fiber hood, spoiler and trim, to the king-size wheels living in flared wheel arches and painted to match the cornea-cooking blue body, to the so-loud-you-can-almost-hear-it blue-and-yellow leather interior, this particular four-port Porsche is the lampshade-wearing, hostess-grinding Yin to a beige Camry LE’s eye-contact-avoiding wallflower Yang.

Naturally, making a vehicle look more outrageous is a rather empty gesture if you don’t make the performance more outrageous as well. Thankfully, Mansory kept this in mind, and they’ve increased the 4.8L twin-turbo V8’s output to 690hp (versus the stocker’s 500hp). That drops the claimed 0-62mph time to 4 seconds flat. Like zoinks, Scoob.

What’s the price for this exercise in extroversion? Not given, but if you need to ask, you probably can’t even afford the stock Panamera Turbo they’d have to start with ($132,600 MSRP without options). Sorry, man.
