As full-size super sedans go, the new Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG is pretty rad. However, Mansory decided to make it even radder by giving it a complete bumper-to-bumper makeover. New fascias front and rear, side skirts, front fenders, hood and dual rear spoilers (above the back window and atop the trunklid), along with some tasty 22” wheels, gives this big Benz an even more aggressive appearance. Of course, finishing every exterior panel and trim item except the lights, reflectors and windows in black or unpainted carbon fiber (or both, in the case of the hood) makes this car look meaner still.

Conversely, the interior is quite inviting, with lavish white leather adorning the four individual seats. The rest of the cabin is likewise trimmed in a mixture of black and white, with a band of carbon fiber spanning the dashboard. We call that luxuriously sporty.

But there’s nothing luxurious about what’s happening under the hood. Mansory offers two tuning packages for the 5.5L twin-turbo V8 (consisting of new turbochargers, a new exhaust system and a reprogrammed ECU): The starter package – called M800 – produces 789 horsepower and 885 lb.-ft of torque, while the hotter package – M1000 – nets a frankly-obscene 986 horsepower and 1,033 lb.-ft of torque. The former helps launch the car to 62 mph from rest in a claimed 3.6 seconds, while the latter will fling it to the same speed in 3.2 seconds; alas, both are limited to 186 mph.
