Karvajal Designs ZX-1 Chevrolet Corvette Widebody Details Released

Karvajal Designs ZX1

Karvajal Designs Inc. is a relative newcomer to the aftermarket tuning scene. They consider themselves a Coachbuilt Car Company, with their main offering being a modified Chevy Corvette C6. Karvajal plans to hand build a variety of packages with the ZX-1 as their first official model. The Karvajal Designs ZX-1 will compete directly with the Callaway Cars C16 on the exotic Corvette tuning front and provide true supercar performance. This vehicle has been seen at a variety of venues, but no real details have been released until now.

The Karvajal ZX-1 Stage One package will include a full-on body kit that extends the Corvette’s track to 80-inches wide as well as some aerodynamic mods, LEDs in front and rear, a custom exhaust and 18 inch HRE wheels. If you really want a Ferrari killer, Karvajal offers a performance package which includes a Magnuson supercharger tuned to produce over 600 horsepower along with monster Baer brakes, a Pfaft coil-over suspension system, built-in anti-roll bars and a full under-carriage aero package. The interior is appointed with high-end leather uphostery including Alcantra race seats, upgraded floor mats and a flat-bottom steering wheel. Like many tuners these days, Karvajal is also offering everything and anything in carbon fiber, for an extra fee of course.
