We have tremendous appreciation for all the time and effort that goes into custom motorcycles that have been chopped up and re-welded to create something new. However, there’s a lot to be said for not messing with the stock frame and suspension. That’s what ace designer Tamas Jakus of Jakusa Design fame has done to this Triumph Speed Triple. Simply swapping a few bolt-on parts like the fuel tank, exhaust and headlight for readily available aftermarket or custom fabricated pieces gives this British bike a whole new attitude, particularly when cloaked in Jakusa Design’s favorite black and gold color combo. Just goes to show you don’t have to go all-out to stand out.
