Is This the Most Baller Flying Tourbillon Watch Ever?
When Jacob & Co. unveiled its Epic SF24 watch a few years ago, we’re sure there was at least one person who opined, “You know, the only thing that could make this cooler would be a flying tourbillon…” As it turns out, the designers at Jacob & Co. agree, as the new Epic SF24 Flying Tourbillon is everything you could want in a traveler time watch. You’ll find the titular party piece at roughly the 10 o’clock position, with the main hour and minute dial at 5 o’clock and the Split Flip time zone display up top on the 18k rose gold case; all of the complications rely on the caliber JCCAA03 and its 528 pieces and 48-hours of power reserve for propulsion.
And if the regular version (priced at about $195,000 and limited to 101 units) isn’t ritzy enough for your liking, Jacob & Co. also offers the Epic SF24 Flying Tourbillon Baguette. For roughly $340,000, you’ll be presented with one of 18 watches adorned with 104 baguette-cut diamonds (weighing in at a total of 8.98 carats) on the case and dial. Regardless of which version you pick, you’ll have a piece of wrist candy that’s as functional as it is flashy.
