This Custom Triumph Thruxton is Stirring, Leaves Us Shaking [w/ Video]

Portland, Oregon is, of course, the nexus of hipsterdom. But mixed among the fixie bikes, highly-stylized facial hair and artisanal this, that and the other, you’ll find Icon 1000, a motorcycling apparel and gear shop. However, unlike most motorcycle gear manufacturers, Icon 1000 also builds custom motorcycles, and one of the firm’s latest builds is an absolute knockout.

Called Three Martini Lunch by its creators, this classy café racer (which started life as a 2014 Triumph Thruxton) wears vintage Kawasaki KZ1000 wheels wrapped in Avon tires and halted by EBC Brakes. The front wheel is attached to the frame via Harley-Davidson forks, with Nitron shocks handling the smoothing of bumps. And speaking of smooth, dig that front fairing! It incorporates a headlight that actually used to be a foglight on an old logging truck and, like the custom seat pan and fuel tank, the fairing is painted in a 1960s Pontiac color called Verdoro Green. Honestly, this bike couldn’t look much cooler, and we’re seriously jealous of anybody who gets to ride it.
