Hublot Techframe Ferrari Tourbillon Chronograph Makes for a Happy Birthday
The partnership between Ferrari and Hublot has yielded more than a few tasty timepieces over the years. But with 2017 marking the 70th birthday of Ferrari as a manufacturer unto itself, you had to have known that the Italian sports car firm’s official watch partner was going to cook up something special for this milestone year. And the Hublot Techframe Ferrari Tourbillon Chronograph certainly qualifies as special.
With a 253-piece manual-winding HUB6311 movement finished in Ruthenium-coated anthracite residing in a 45 mm case, the Techframe Ferrari Tourbillon Chronograph looks equal parts industrial and fashionable. And it’s being offered in three different versions: The $127,000 titanium model, the $137,000 carbon fiber reinforced PEEK model, and the King Gold version that will set you back a hefty $158,000. But even if you have that kind of coin, it still might not be enough to put one on your wrist, as Hublot is only building 70 of these bad boys because, duh, 70 years of Ferrari.
