It’s been almost three years since Hublot, the official watch manufacturer of Ferrari, released the MP-05 LaFerrari. That watch’s unconventional tourbillion movement and engine-inspired shape conspired to create a truly distinctive timepiece. And now, in an effort to keep the model fresh and make it even more distinctive, Hublot has created the MP-05 LaFerrari Sapphire, which replaces the standard version’s humdrum black case with a transparent sapphire unit that is the result of 600 hours of machining a solid block of the stuff. Only 20 of these stunners will be made and, alas, they’re all spoken for, so these pictures will have to do.
