HAMANN Tycoon EVO M – Juiced Up BMW X6 M Gets New Guise For Geneva Motor Show

HAMANN TYCOON EVO M

The HAMANN Tycoon Evo M debuted last year at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show as a super duper hyped-up version of the BMW X6 M. The shocker was the fact that HAMANN managed to boost the engine output to 670hp allowing the 4WD vehicle to hit 62mph from a standstill in just 4.2 seconds on its way to a top speed of 186 mph. The heavily tuned Sports Activity Vehicle has retained much of its original form along with some new carbon bits, a fresh paint job and some far out guts for 2011.

For this year’s Geneva Motor Show, HAMANN outfitted the X6 M with a new carbon fiber hood, roof rack, lower front spoiler, rear window spoiler, rear wing, rear diffuser and rear tail lights covers. In addition, the exterior gets shellacked in matte black paint.

This tuning reincarnation benefits from the same 60mm widened stance and 23-inch wheels. Stopping power comes by way of a ceramic brake system with 6 calipers up front and 4 in back. The EVO M rides 40 millimeters lower than stock thanks to coiled springs installed at the front axle and a special kit used in the rear.

HAMANN always goes all out when it comes to interiors and the Tycoon EVO M is par for the course. This go-round the German tuner sourced exotic nanal salmon leather for the upholstery. What’s so special about this material you smuggly ask? It sports properties of both salmon skin and traditional leather, but to us looks like pimped out snake skin. To spice things up a bit further the company uses noble chequer-shaped embroideries on the floor space and even the trunk mat.

To keep with the sporty racing motif, the HAMANN Tycoon Evo M gets aluminum pedal and footrests along with illuminated door sill plates. And if that wasn’t enough to seal the deal, HAMANN replaces the stock Bimmer steering-wheel with a three-spoke jobbie.
