G&S Exclusive Maserati Ghibli EVO is a Sporty Subspecies [w/ Video]
Maserati is hell-bent on boosting its annual sales, and is in the midst of rolling out the kind of product – namely the midsize Ghibli sedan and the yet-to-be-revealed Levante SUV – it needs to do so. Of course, as more Masers make their way onto the world’s roads, there will be more and more people wanting tuned ones. That’s where companies like G&S Exclusive come into play.
G&S Exclusive, which is headquartered in the German town of Albstadt south of Stuttgart, has devised a gaggle of tuning parts (mostly of the cosmetic sort) for the new Ghibli. Carbon fiber add-ons like front splitter and side skirt extensions, a rear diffuser, rear lip spoiler, roof skin, side window molding and grille insert and overlays for the exterior mirrors, door handles and fender vents give the Ghibli an even more muscular look, while a KW coilover kit and a set of 21” OZ Racing wheels finished in the colors of your choosing endow it with a killer stance.
But G&S Exclusive isn’t just a maker of appearance parts; it also offers piggyback ECU tuners it calls G&S-Tronic(pictured above) for both the gas and diesel V6 versions of the Ghibli. Taken together, these parts should make the midsize Maserati an even more intriguing alternative to the obvious Teutonic choices in the segment (read: BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class).
