This Yellow Brick Will Burn up the Road

For a company that made its name tuning BMWs, G-Power sure has been cozying up to Mercedes-Benz owners of late. Not that we have a problem with that, mind you, but we’re still getting used to the idea of G-Power enhanced products of the “other” big time German luxury brand. Of course, vehicles like this G63 AMG will go a very long way toward helping us acclimatize.

G-Power certainly has this G-Wagen looking fly, with the yellow body contrasting with a black roof, front bumper, rear bumper, and fender flares. The 23” G-Power Hurricane RR wheels are also black, and are wrapped with Dunlop Sport Max tires. That high performance rubber allowed G-Power to safely raise the electronic speed limiter to 155 mph, and thanks to the G-Power Bi-Tronik 5 V1 ECU piggyback module (which raises the output of the 5.5L twin-turbo V8 to 636 horsepower and 664 lb.-ft of torque), you’ll get there quite a bit quicker. In fact, G-Power says this big yellow brick will scoot to 62 mph in 5.3 seconds. Pretty impressive for something that doesn’t require you to tap the heels of ruby shoes together…
