One of the highlights of the automotive “buff book” year is Motor Trend’s Best Driver’s Car competition. The L.A.-based mag spends the better part of a week sampling some of the year’s sportiest cars on Central California back roads and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to determine which contender is the best four-wheeled dance partner. Which car was tops this time around? Well, we aren’t going to spoil it for you, nor are we going to spoil who won the companion event, World’s Greatest Drag Race (their name, not ours).
