For Your Consideration: The Audi A1
There are a lot of Audi’s to choose from and it can be a bit confusing to figure out which one will suit you and your lifestyle. The Audi A1 came out in 2010 so it still one of the most recent Audi’s to grace our roads. With a fuel economy of 72mpg, CO2 emissions of 99g/km, and starting at just under £12,000, its one of the most economical choices.
Like many new cars, there are added features which you can choose to have if you want too. Those recommended by magazines such as Auto Express are the 6.5 inch screen, stop-start, privacy glass (a big plus on cars now), MP3 connection and cruise control. Its best features are its brakes, handling and ease of driving, not to mention the overall technology.
The Audi A1 is the smallest of the Audis but is very reliable and economical. In comparison to all the other Audis (ranging from Audi Cars, Sport(S) Models, Audi Coupe’s and SVS and RS Renn Sport/Racing Models) it’s probably one of the best. The R8 and A7 are some of the only other Audi’s that are cheaper than the A1, meaning you are getting a bargain with this one.
In general, Audi’s are all very reliable, trustworthy and comfortable, and offer great economic value. The Audi TT is possibly one of the most popular cars and is a big rival of the A1. Alongside this, the sporty RS Audi’s are also up there in aesthetics and speed.
If you want a fast paced, all round great car, the A1 is the best. They offer a range of great city cars with enough room to suit people’s busy lifestyles. Although the A1 is a smaller version, it still has the power and agility to meet the standards of all other Audi’s.
