Back at the 2012 Cannes Yacht Festival, Ferretti Yachts premiered an 82 foot yacht called the Pershing 82. It was stylish and luxurious even some five years later but, as we all know, trends come and go and personal tastes evolve. That’s why the Pershing 82’s makers decided, along with famed naval architect Fulvio De Simoni, to give this vessel a makeover just a half decade into its life. And the results are pretty impressive.
The redesigned interior features new Poltrona Frau leather furniture, trim in dark gray lacquer and oak woodwork, as well as stylish new metallic-look wallpaper and new bathroom fixtures in each of the four cabins. And with dual MTU 16V 2000 M93 engines, this boat can really book it: Ferretti says it will cruise at 40 knots, and max out at 45 knots. Luxury, style and speed? Where do we sign?
