Dartz Red Russian Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 is Vlad to the Bone

When it comes to ostentatiousness of the SUV persuasion, the mad Russians and Latvians at Dartz pretty much have the market cornered since Hummer is worm food and there are kids today whose grandparents hadn’t even met each other when the last Lamborghini LM002 was made. The blocky styling, wild colors and wilder interior appointments of Dartz creations prove that, although money can’t buy taste, it can buy vehicles that are truly distinctive.

That being said, the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 certainly gives those ex-Soviet Bloc super utes a run for their rubles. After all, if two portal axles are good, three portal axles are better, we always say. So what would happen if Dartz was to get its hands on one of Benz’s six-legged bad mudder-truckers? Would such a high concentration of vehicular outrageousness rip a hole in the space-time continuum? Well, no; but it would – and has – created the Dartz Red Russian. To the 6×6, Dartz adds a beefy, battering-ram-like front bumper, a new front grille, and additional vents on the hood and sides. The wild cammo is hand-painted onto the body by Dartz’s own A. C’machoff, and one of his custom painted baseball bats is also included.

Inside, Dartz offers its usual wide variety of wild colors and materials with which to personalize your Red Russian…up to and including white shark leather floor coverings (Cue PETA screaming in 3…2…). As for the top picture depicting a John McClane-esque Vladimir Putin caricature in the middle of an action movie poster? Well, Dartz says it has something to do with its love of the Die Hard movies.
