Danica Patrick Sports Illustrated SI Swimsuit Issue Photo Shoot

Danica Patrick got a lot of attention when she burst onto the IndyCar racing scene in 2005 as a competitive woman driver. When she won the 2008 Indy Japan 300 she became the first woman to win an Indy race and cemented her legitimacy. In 2009, she placed 3rd at the Indianapolis 500. But between those highlights the Queen of Speed hasn’t been receiving alot of accolades for her track performances.

However, off the track she has been on a tear. She released an autobiography in 2006, has a lucrative deal with GoDaddy pitching domaims, showed up on FHM’ Top 100 Sexiest Women list and has most recently appeared for a second time in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. As you can see, Ms. Patrick is definitely an athlete first and foremost and it’s hard to believe that the lady in the little black bikini laying over the hood of an AC Cobra is one of the top drivers in the world.
