Custom Line 120 Scales up the Swag
The Ferretti Group’s Custom Line brand is already one of the most in-demand names in the moderately-sized motor yacht business. So it shouldn’t come as a huge shock that the Italian outfit is ready to apply its styling and engineering expertise to larger vessels, and this 120’ stunner currently under construction suggests they haven’t had any trouble with the scaling-up process.
This as-yet-unnamed boat, designed with assistance from Francesco Paszkowski, marries a relatively tall hull with a short, rakish superstructure. Stabilizer fins help smooth out the ride, while a pair of muscular MTU engines serve up a max speed of 25 knots and a cruising speed of 22 knots. The main deck houses the handsome lounge, dining area, kitchen and master suite, while a quartet each of guest staterooms and crew cabins occupy the lower deck along with a garage for a tender of up to 18’ in length. If Custom Line can cram all of that into a 120-footer, just think what they could do with a megayacht…
