This Bodacious Beemer is the Future of Fast

Some of the recent concept cars from BMW have been pretty wild and futuristic, but when was the last time you saw a BMW concept motorcycle that really wowed you? More importantly, when was the last time you saw a BMW concept motorcycle at all? It’s been a couple years, hasn’t it? Well, while the radical machine you see here isn’t an official BMW Motorrad project, that doesn’t make it any less worthy of your attention.

Turkish designer Mehmet Doruk Erdem says his main inspiration for the BMW Titan Concept was a great white shark. Although we can spot some shark-like attributes, such as the rear wheel standing behind the body like a tail and gills in the side cowling, mostly we see a low, low superbike plucked from a Blade Runner-ish future. Erdem didn’t mention what powers the Titan Concept, but we’d like to think it’s something like a hydrogen-burning twin-turbo flat-twin. That (and the ability for a human to ride it without pulling a muscle or six) would make the fantasy complete in our view…
