2015 Porsche Panamera Exclusive Series is Fancy Fast [w/ Video]
The Porsche Panamera is not widely regarded as an ultra-luxury sedan, which is understandable when you take its sporting demeanor and wonky hatchback shape into account. However, Porsche wants to change that perception (to a certain extent) by releasing the limited edition machine you see here: The Panamera Exclusive Series.
Based on the extended wheelbase, weapons-grade-powerful Panamera Turbo S Executive, the Exclusive Series is painted in a decadent metallic black and brown two-tone scheme, and it wears a set of the company’s retro-cool, faux-Fuchs 20” Sport Classic wheels. Inside, you’ll find a mix of brown Poltrona Frau and black Nappa leathers (with the former also being used to create the included five-piece fitted luggage set), burled walnut and piano black trim, a Burmester audio system, numbered dash plaque, and the first ever appearance of Porsche’s new Rear Seat Entertainment System Plus, which features a 10.2” touchscreen (with a camera, because #backseatselfies, or something…) attached to each front seatback and a DVD player.
If you want a Panamera Exclusive Series in your garage, you’d better act fast, because only 100 will be made for worldwide consumption. Oh, and it will be very, very expensive: U.S. pricing info hasn’t been released yet, but it will set European buyers back roughly $315,000 (though that includes a 19% value-added tax). Of course, if you’ve been paying any attention to Porsche option pricing in the last 10 or 15 years, that shouldn’t exactly come as a surprise, should it?
