2011 Chevy Camaro SS ‘Black Kat’ by FELGE & Speed Box

Speed Box Black Cat Camaro SS

In the quiet little town of Herten in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, lives an unlikely tuning shop with a passion for American muscle cars, Speed Box. In keeping with their focus, these German car fanatics have been chosen by FELGE to work on their newest tuning project, the 2011 Chevy Camaro SS.

The stock 6.2-liter V8 engine is good for 432 hp, but not good enough for these folks. Using a compressor kit (€8,999), they manage to pump out 625 hp. A BORLA stainless steel exhaust half-system sans tailpipe (€999) is used to allow the car to roar while a matte black paint job (€3,500) gives it an appropriately sinister demeanor.

Speed Box offers H&R coilovers (€ 1272) and stabilizers (€ 530) to keep the driving dynamics in favor of the owner/driver and not physics. Schmidt Revolution is sourced for the deep dish wheels selection, which fittingly don the name Rhino, measuring 22 x 10 inches in front and 22 x 11 inches in back (€ 3399). Amazingly enough, no wheel arching is required and super skinny tires rated at 265/30-R33 are mounted in front and 295/25-R22 in back to slip inside the undercarriage.
