German Porsche tuning expert TechArt has unveiled the new 2009 GTstreet R, a performance series they started back in 2001. The car is jacked up to 660 bhp with a 0 to 62 mph sprint in 3.4 seconds using the Tiptronic S transmission. The manual can accomplish the same in 3.5 seconds. The GTstreet R has a top speed of 214 mph.
Performance upgrades come in the form of new intercoolers, bigger inlet pipes, more efficient manifolds, a less restrictive air filter, a tweaked sports exhaust, new turbochargers and a coil over suspension system. The 2009 TechArt GT Street Ralso benefits from a full body kit with revised headlight and mirror trims, sill panels, front and rear spoilers as well as a new rear wing and apron which all add to its striking aesthetics.
