Breitling, a company well known for aviation inspired watches, now is venturing into the realm of racing inspired watches with its partnership with Bentley, a luxury performance automaker. The Breitling GMT is an exquisite timepiece with an "asymmetrical lug-nut design," multiple timezone display and markers for 24 different international cities along the inner bezel.
The watch is water resistant down to 100 meters, has chronographs accurate to 1/8th of a second and is equipped with a second hour hand with a special red arrow end that traverses the full circumference of the dial every 24 hours. The case is made out of cambered sapphire crystal and the watch is mechanical self-winding.
The Breitling for Bentley GMT comes in two flavors, steel or red gold. In addition a choice of straps is available - GMT black rubber or the Speed bracelet. Retail price of the rose gold version with black strap and black dial is $41,740. Retail price of the steel version with black strap and silver dial is $9,135.
