SpoCom is known for bringing out the hottest models in the industry and the tour stop in Hawaii stuck to the time tested formula. Fresh on the heels of the 2010 SpoCom Super Show in Long Beach, the event in the capital city f Honolulu provided the usual bevy of lovely ladies.
Import models, booth babes and promo girls were everywhere the eye could see with plenty of go-go dancers doing their thing as well. A bikini contest was one of the highlights. Jenny Chu took the honors with Mya Michelle voted 1st runner-up and Alexia Cortez 2nd runner-up. A lingerie show capped off the event.
2nd Runner-Up: Miss Alexia Corte
Another beautiful summer weekend in Southern California brought yet another car show! On Saturday August 7th, RPM Event Series 2010 made its way down to Hidden Valley Event Park in Irvine, CA. The day started off really overcast in LA as we made our trek down to Orange County, but we were hopeful that the marine layer would burn off. Luckily the sun made its way through the clouds as we made our way to Irvine!
The venue was definitely unique, I'd never been to Hidden Valley Event Park. Right next door to Wild Rivers Water Park and Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, it's definitely a hidden treasure. The lay out of the event was a bit more of a workout then some of the other events done in convention centers and the sort, but we didn't mind. The cars were basically the same as most of the SoCal shows this year. There were a few newcomers here and there, a few changes to some of the usual favorites, but nothing that exciting. I was a lot more excited to see the large motorcycle scene that the show had to offer, and of course the beautiful models!
The RPM Event Series just made its second stop on the tour in Irvine, California. And like many enthusiast shows had now shortage of lovely ladies working the venue and promoting various companies. What follows are some pictures of the booth babes, import models and promo girls doing their thing. The models included Nikita Esco, Alicia Whitten, Corissa Furr, Christine Mendoza, Misa Campo, Raichelle Viado, Jennifer Yi, Ashley Labady and Melissa Riso.
Enjoy the girl pictures from 2010 RPM Event Series Irvine after the jump...
On Sunday July 18, 2010, the Long Beach Convention Center hosted one of the hottest, most anticipated car shows - Spocom 2010! Hot cars, hot women, and hot weather; what more could you want on your last day off from work for the week? Each and every year Spocom raises the bar for automotive events, and this year they definitely didn't disappoint. With the American economy in shambles, it's always nice to get away from reality and check out amazing cars, with my college tuition invested in them. And having 200+ models in attendance didn't hurt either.
From new to old, bling to ratty, Spocom 2010 Long Beach had it all. This definitely isn't the car show of 30 years ago, where your girlfriend gets bored after walking around, while you look at and talk about cars for a couple of hours. Now days car shows are less focused strictly on cars, and have instead become a full day of entertainment for both men and women. The planners of Spocom kept a very strict schedule throughout the day, and I want to commend the staff for their successful efforts. The show offered live music, dance competitions, a bikini contest and, my personal favorite, a lingerie contest! Did I mention they had a lingerie contest?!
Bikini contests and car shows just seem to go together like peanut butter and jam. Throw in a lingerie show to boot and it's a wrap. What do lingerie and cars have to do with one another? Nothing, but who cares?! The 2010 SpoCom Super Show in Long Beach had both. The friendly booth babes working the various exhibition areas transformed into hype runway models and put on a hell of a show. Check out all of the girls strutting their stuff on the stage after the jump.
As promised, here is the second installment of booth babes and promo models from the 2010 SpoCom Super Show in Long Beach. The event always brings out plenty of talent and this year didn't disappoint. Some of our favorite import models were in the house along with plenty of welcome new faces (and bodies). Be sure to check back for Part III in the series presenting the girls from the Bikini Contest and Lingerie Show.
SpoCom is known for being a buffet of hot import models. This year's Super Show at the Long Beach Convention Center stuck to the formula that makes this event one of the highlights of the year for the sport compact enthusiast set. You couldn't go past 5 cars without running into a girl rocking a skimpy outfit and a big smile. Our kind of show... In any case, here is our first installment in a three part series paying homage to all of the booth babes, promo models and car show girls in attendance at 2010 SpoCom Long Beach.
It is July. This means 2 things: The number of testicular injuries caused by fireworks is about to increase 4000%, and the inaugural Spectre 341 Challenge has just wrapped up. This event, put on by Spectre Performance, is held on a 5.2 mile road that has 22 turns, climbs over 1,200 feet, and you have to provide proof that your balls are the size of softballs. It is one of the scariest ways to test your driving prowess in the US. You do not enter it to find out if you like auto racing. That would be like joining the Marines to find out if you like the outdoors.
The participating field of the spectacular was hardly made up of wooden go karts with pedal power. GTRs, Porsches, Vipers, old Camaros and high-boost Evos all showed up to take on the mountain. Extra points go to the driver a 1950s DeSoto Pikes Peak car; the first documented case of someone creating something both quaint and badass. Steve Millen-not exactly a "novice"- was there in his Nissan GTR, in full Targa Rally prep. He ran the course in 3:22.926, snagging 2nd place. As fast as his purpose-built GTR was, it couldn't catch Lou Gigliotti piloting the 750 hp LG Motorsports Corvette ZR1. He crossed the line in 3:21.747, and even had time to videotape it for us to scream along with...
