Wald International Toyota GT 86 Body Kit Unveiled

The “Toyobaru coupes”Toyota 86, Toyota GT 86, Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ – have started reaching dealers worldwide, but they certainly aren’t staying at them very long as enthusiasts enthusiastically snap them up. Tidy proportions, a burbling boxer engine, meticulously tuned suspension and, oh by the way, rear-wheel drive will do that.

Of course, with so many car geeks moving into Toyobaru Town, it’s going to be hard to stand out from the crowd, at least for the next couple of months. But one company – Wald International – is already set to offer a body kit for the pushed-along sport coupes (or at least for the Toyota/Scion version). And, just going by the two renderings that have been released so far, it looks sharp.

Wald Body Kit Gives the Lexus CT200h Mean to Match Its Green

If you’re in the market for a fuel-sipping urban runabout but want the premium features associated with a premium nameplate, you can’t do much better than the Lexus CT200h. This strikingly-styled five-door compact – which shares its hybrid drivetrain with the Toyota Prius – offers an enticing combination of remarkable efficiency, posh interior appointments and, perhaps most notably of all, not suggesting to the world that you’re a granola-huffing drum circle stalwart.

However, if you want to distance yourself further from the (stereo)typical hybrid buyer, there aren’t tons of options out there for personalizing your CT200h. Thankfully, that number of options has grown by one thanks to Japanese tuner Wald International. And it’s not just any option; it’s one honey of a body kit.

Wald International Works Wonders on the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG

If it seems like just last week that we reported on Wald International releasing a Black Bison cosmetic package for a German super sedan (specifically the Porsche Panamera), that’s because it was just last week. So the Japanese automotive aesthetics enhancement specialists are taking a bit of a breather now, right? Um…no.

Instead of taking a powder, Wald International has rolled out a Black Bison package for the new C218-chassis Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG. But aside from the all-black-all-the-time exterior treatment, what else is included in the proverbial box? Read on and find out!

Wald International Convinces the Porsche Panamera to Join the Dark Side

Despite its polarizing looks (and, frankly, the mere fact that it exists causing conniptions among hardcore Porschephiles), the Porsche Panamera has become a remarkably popular canvas for tuners. And with as much as 550hp available (in the recently introduced Panamera Turbo S) from the factory, you don't necessarily need to have your favorite tuning shop add more power (though we certainly don't have a problem with adding power to a vehicle).   That's a good thing for Wald International, since the Japanese firm doesn't concern itself with engine upgrades. Instead, it provides comprehensive and classy cosmetic revisions to a wide variety of British, German, Italian and Japanese vehicles. And its body kit for the Panamera – part of its Black Bison line and the company's first kit for a Porsche – manages to make the luxury five-door look downright snazzy.
