While some might dismiss the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG as a Teutonically-icy (save those flamboyant doors) grand tourer, the reality is it’s thoroughly capable junior supercar that’s more than capable of going toe-to-toe with the likes of the Audi R8 V10, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and Porsche GT3. And as we’ve seen in the last year or so, the tuning community is well aware of the 21er Jahrhundert Gullwing’s inherent performance potential. Senner Tuning is just the latest aftermarket outfitter to jump on the SLS bandwagon.
Unlike many tuners, the Senner folks have left the bodywork of this white lightning bolt alone, other than the fitment of carbon fiber sideview mirrors and some small Senner Tuning decals on the rocker panels. Virtually all the visual impact comes courtesy of the crouching stance created by the KW Variante 3 adjustable coilover kit and the special stainless steel and diamond black 20” Vegas wheels from Aerotechnik’s Corniche line (Nine inches wide in front, 11 inches wide in back.) that fill the wheel wells like a narcoleptic waitress fills customers’ coffee cups: To the brim, and maybe a little beyond.
The diminiutive Audi A1 is a somewhat unlikely but not totally unexpected platform for aftermarket tuners. Senner Tuning AG has just introduced their customization package for the smallest vehicle in the Audi arsenal, which steers clear of styling tweaks in favor of a host of performance mods. The title “Lord of Four Rings” seems more apt for the A8 platform but we won’t argue with this oxymoron.
The Audi A1 has a 1.4-liter gasoline powered T-FSI engine with 200 Nm of torque. Not content with the 122 hp of stock output, this German tuning shop, led by Benno Senner, swaps in a BMC ITA Power Airbox, a new Chipbox ECU and a power converter to handle gas signal amplification. But the fun doesn’t stop there, oh no… A new stainless steel exhaust system including a silencer and 90mm tailpipes that meet EC-Approval are put in place. These upgrades push the outout rating to 156 hp and 250 Nm of torque.
Senner Tuning AG, a German aftermarket tuning company, has just released their version of the Audi S5 Sportback which, unfortunately, isn’t going to be coming to America. However, it is going to be available just about everywhere else where the A5 Sportback is sold.
Senner started by increasing the output of Audi S5‘s already powerful V6 engine from 333 hp to 375 hp. The performance boost is achieved by incorporating a new air filter along with some software sorcery. Additionally, a brand new cat-back exhaust system with four tips was specifically designed for their S5. This is the ideal package for tunnel blasting with the windows down—all the way down. However, Senner Tuning AG didn’t stop there.
Back in July, Senner Tuning unleashed their 350Z Roadster THUNDER creation. We were a little surprised to see a new package for an old model and were curious as to whether they were introducing anything for the latest version. Well, after only a couple months wait, this German aftermarket tuner has dropped the Senner Whitelady Z based on the Nissan 370Z Coupe. The name is a throwback to the Z cars from years past. The original Z released in 1969 in Japan was called the Nissan Fairlady Z.
The performance specialists over at Senner Tuning have just released a new styling package for the Nissan 350Z Convertible with various options including both exterior and interior enhancements. The first thing that really pops out at you is the aerodynamics kit of the Senner 350Z THUNDER, which includes a much larger rear spoiler than stock along with some Lambo-style “LSD” doors. The Senner Nissan 350Z is also outfitted with plenty of chrome which finds its way onto the grill, gas cap and all emblems.
Senner Tuning, a well-regarded modification outfit from Germany, has just released a new styling package for the 2009 Audi A5. It was actually only a few weeks back when their widely anticipated Senner Audi A5 Black & White performance package was unveiled. The highlight was definitely the aerodynamics kit which includes a carbon fiber front spoiler apron, carbon-fiber mirror housings, a rear spoiler and spoiler lip and a carbon fiber rear bumper.
Senner Tuning is a high-end Audi tuner that has been putting out quality modifications for some time now. Their latest offering is a package for the 2009 Audi A5 with various options. ASA GT1 alloy wheels are available in either Shiny Silver or Matt Black finish in sizes 20×9 up front and 20×10.5 in rear. These are wrapped with 245/30 R20 and 295/25 R20 high performance tires.
