• Anderson Germany Bentley Continental GT Adds Fast and Flash

We don’t have very many bones to pick with the current, second generation Bentley Continental GT. Yes, it’s expensive, and yes, many of them are driven by people who can at best be referred to as flaming tools. But the Continental GT has so many things going for it – classy styling, a lavish interior, and brawny V8 and W12 engines – that those few demerits are easy to ignore.

And if you want to make those strengths, er, stronger, the tuning experts at Anderson Germany have parts and pieces aimed at doing exactly that. And while it may not look dramatically different from the way it does when it rolls out of the factory in Crewe, the way it responds to a jab of the gas pedal most assuredly is different.

  • Anderson Germany Turns the Old Audi S8 into an Evil Executive Express

639 Anderson Germany Turns the Old Audi S8 into an Evil Executive Express

For years now, the Audi S8 has been one of our favorite cars. After all, can you name another full-size sedan that features a posh interior, brawny engine, a lightweight aluminum chassis and tenacious AWD grip? The Jaguar XJR comes close, but is rear-drive only. The BMW Alpina B7 xDrive claws at the road with all four tires, but the mostly steel monocoque makes it a fattie by comparison. Essentially, the S8 – now entering its third generation – is in a class of one.

But for some S8 owners, being the only car like it in its class isn’t enough, even when the prior generation S8 – known to Audi fans as the D3 generation – had an additional attribute that no direct rival had: A V10 engine, specifically a slightly detuned variant of the Lamborghini Gallardo’s powerplant. Fortunately, the well-rounded tuners at Anderson Germany have devised a suite of upgrades to make your Gen 2 S8 stand out from its peers.

To choose a Maserati GranTurismo, a coupé manufactured by the world famous Italian premium car workhop, as a base for possible gentle corrections of this near to perfection driving machine, it demands a lot of mastership and workmanship. But ANDERSON Germany, at home at Dusseldorf and other places in Germany, has rendered several spectacular examples of its efficient inventiveness.

Solely the complete car coating in silky matt black makes blood run cold for many apologists of automobile art made in Italy. Only the window frames, grill and the rear logo are made in shining black. Matching to the whole ensemble both front and tail lamps are tinted.

  • Anderson Germany Rolls the Aston Martin DBS Superior Black Edition out of the Shadows

anderson germany aston martin dbs 1 Anderson Germany Rolls the Aston Martin DBS Superior Black Edition out of the Shadows

Although tuner Anderson Germany hasn’t been around as long as some of the more established multi-marque outfits like Hamann or Arden, the company has already garnered a reputation for creating upgrade packages that are both comprehensive and cohesive. Witness the enhancement work Anderson Germany has done on already snazzy rides like the Audi R8 and Ferrari California.

Now Anderson Germany has gotten its hands on the Aston Martin DBS. And even though the DBS is already the most powerful and most exclusive Aston Martin currently in production (provided you don’t count the limited edition One-77), the folks in Düsseldorf saw even more potential. However, helping the rest of the world see that potential started out with…making it harder to see.

  • Anderson Germany Returns to the Darkside with Audi R8 V10 Hyper Black Edition

    1. komplettlackierung in hyper black Anderson Germany Returns to the Darkside with Audi R8 V10 Hyper Black Edition

There have been oodles and oodles of tuning programs aimed at the Audi R8. Even though many have fallen flat, the sheer brilliance of the base model gives them a wide margin to flounder as well as the beneift of the doubt. Anderson Germany, however, has managed to actually raise the bar — both visual and performance — with their Hyper Black edition of the Audi R8 V10. (And we expected nothing less after witnessing last year’s Audi R8 V10 Racing Edition).

The company starts at the heart of the R8, its 5.2-liter FSI engine, good for a conservative 525hp. Using a Rennkats exhaust system, some ECU tweaks and a revised air filter bumps output up to 589hp. Speaking of the exhaust system, which actually shaves 22kg of weight, a remote controlled valve system allows the driver to choose 3 different levels of sound.

  • Audi R8 V10 Racing Edition by Anderson Germany is Deliciously Evil

Anderson Germany R8 V10 Audi R8 V10 Racing Edition by Anderson Germany is Deliciously Evil

This is a rare thing. Usually things that are German and angry looking scare us, but that is not the case with this Audi R8 V10 Racing Edition by Anderson Germany. It looks fun, in the same way that shooting an AK at a wall is fun. Loud, obnoxious, a little odd to see, but fun nonetheless. The Audi R8 has been modified every which way, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for more. If we are Hugh Hefner, then modded R8s are playmates; more is better. Keep reading to find out what kind of Double-D’s it’s packing.

A few months ago we showed you Anderson Germany‘s frantically fast, snow white Ferrari California. Anyone who extracts 50 more horses from a high-strung V8 is a friend of ours, so when we heard they were working on Audi’s flagship supercar we wanted to hear more about it. The result of their efforts is the sinister beauty you see here. Looking like a secret gorvernment fighter jet, AG first started with the wheels. They liked the shape of the stock wheels, but knew we would send their email right to the delete box if they looked bone stock. So they trimmed the blades in carbon fiber, and painted the lip a dark orange. They actually look 100% better than the stock rims and paired with red calipers they make the whole car pop. Impressive considering the body is painted as brightly as Blue Cross’ soul.

  • Anderson Germany Gives the Ferrari California Some Sharper Teeth

anderson germany california 2 Anderson Germany Gives the Ferrari California Some Sharper Teeth

The Ferrari California is, like any model to emerge from the Maranello plant since, say, the shiver-worthy 348, a brilliant car. Unfortunately, that doesn’t change the fact that the latest “starter Ferrari” was practically born to be purchased by rodent-sized-canine-owning celebrities who neither know nor care about the car’s thousands of engineering man-hours or the storied marque’s extensive competition record both past and present. (“Fernando Alonso? He’s, like, an opera singer, right?”)

This pre-installed stigma is bad juju for types of true enthusiasts who would buy this car. You know, the folks who wake up at stupid o’clock in the morning to watch Formula 1 live on Speed and can appreciate technology like the direct-injected 4.3L V8 and available 7-speed double-clutch transmission, because the gearhead of lesser means who sees them cruising down the street will tend to assume the person behind the wheel thinks “Imola” is the name of a meat-borne pathogen and merely bought a California because it’s a convertible and it has a back seat on which to place the pet carrier of Aphrodite, their Mexican Hairless.
