Lazareth LM 847 is a Mental Maserati-Powered Motorcycle

By a show of hands, who thinks there aren’t enough V8-powered motorcycles in the world? Yeah, that’s what we thought. Ludovic Lazareth, a French car and bike customizer, prototype builder and restorer, feels your pain, which is why he and his team created the Lazareth LM 847, a motorcycle built around a 4.7L, 470 horsepower, 457 lb.-ft Maserati V8. And that Italian grand tourer powerplant isn’t the only unusual feature; it also has four wheels and tires rather than the typical two (not unlike another mostly-engine motorbike, the Dodge Tomahawk Concept), and the engine’s power reaches the pavement through a fluid coupling rather than a transmission. Sure, it weighs 882 lbs., but we’re guessing it’ll still romp to extralegal speeds faster than you can say, “I hope I bought enough life insurance…”
