For most of the last 40 years or so, the top of the exotic car food chain has been dominated by the same troika of household names that are widely known even in non-gearhead households: Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini. There have, however, been some names that have made attempts to join that elite brigade over the years, and one of the most successful has been Pagani.
A sizable amount of that success is probably attributable to people like Peter Read. He’s a bloke who owns a pair of Paganis: A Zonda Roadster and a Huayra. He also happens to be a member of the Goodwood Road Racing Club, which looks after the historic racing circuit that’s home to the annual Goodwood Revival. Thus, Mr. Read was able to secure some track time so that he and Pagani concierge John Morrison could exercise these Italian stallions and get a better feel for their similarities and differences. Hard work, but we guess somebody’s gotta do it…
