As promised, here is the second installment of promo model pictures from the 2010 DUB Show Tour Anaheim. Enjoy!
The DUB Show Tour always presents a bounty of colorful, tricked-out and fantastical rides that are the fruits of thousands of hours of labor and boundless creativity. The show in Anaheim was no different and featured all kinds of exotics, sports cars, SUVs, classics and low-riders in every flavor possible. Snoop's 1967 Pontiac Parisienne, aka Snoop's Lakers ride, and his 1967 Fleetwood Cadillac 'Snoopdeville' were on display as was Nelly's DUB Edition wide-body 2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0.
The bike stunt show was pretty wild as the Famous Stars and Straps riders busted out all kinds of wheelies, stoppies, burnouts and coffin maneuvers. While checking out all of the mad whips, The Game, New Boyz, J. Cole, B.O.B., IYAZ, Nipsey Hussle, Glasses, California, Nola Darling, U-N-I and Jay Rock performed. The squad from Power 106 FM hosted a live show with Big Boi, Tattoo, Luscious Liz, E-man and Fuzzy all did their thing. All in all, it was a good time and even the mid-day rain storm couldn't put a damper on the festivities.
The Dub Show Tour 2010 stopped in Anaheim, California today at Angel's Stadium. And of course, amongst all of the sick rides, there were an abundance of beautiful promo models. The Pirelli Girls, Bud Light Girls and LA Kings Cheerleaders were joined by hotties from local car clubs like Nokturnal and Swift. This is just the first batch with several more to follow. So, check back for updates.
The SpongeBob Dodge Charger at the 2009 DUB Show Detroit was one of the true standouts. Arandas Tire had some pretty cool rides but this got top billing. You should have seen the crowd around this thing. And they were cool about it, leaving the door unlocked with people climbing in and out. We've seen some SpongeBob SquarePants edition cars before but they usually just consisted of painting half the car baby blue and the other half yellow. Sometimes even a funky airbush figure or two... But nothing approaching the theme execution that these guys pulled off.
As always, there were car show models at the DUB Show Tour stop. The venue at Cobo Hall for the 2009 DUB Show Detroit didn't have the quantity of some of the major cities but the booth babes and girls working the various display areas were super nice and knowlegeable. Below are some of the photos from the show:
If you pay attention to all the doom and gloom in the news, at a time when the major auto manufacturers are pulling out of various auto shows left and right and everyone's purse strings are tightened, one would think that modified and custom car shows would take it on the chin. Alas, it is not so... Yes, things were a little quieter yesterday in Motor City for the 2009 DUB Show Detroit, and it is not as big a venue as say a Los Angeles (see our coverage here) but there was still a huge turnout with over $5 million in tricked-out cars on display. Next stop for the tour is Dallas on June 6th.
Some highlights included two Mobsteel customized Lincolns, a procession of Spade Kreations' whips, Arandas Tire's sick rides, the $2 million GAS Scythe car and a host of local celebrity rides. Video games were also a big focus with large displays and playing areas for Midnight Club Los Angeles, 2K Sports and XBOX 360, with their large Gaming Arcade. And of course, no Dub Show would be complete without a concert which included Gorilla Zoe, Tone Tone, K-Deezy, Young J, Stretch Money and Trick Trick.

As always, the models at the 2009 DUB Show Los Angeles were stellar. Highlights included the Boost Mobile ladies, Monster Girls, Perelli team and car show models at all of the various retail operations and car clubs.

The 2009 DUB Show Los Angeles kicked off today at the LA Convention Center. As the first stop of the 12 city tour, the folks at DUB got things off to a great start. As usual, the collection of celebrity rides, custom autos, modified luxury cars and exotics was phenomenal. Some of the standouts included collections from Platinum Motorsport, Galpin Auto Sports (GAS), Perelli and WTW (makers of Giovanna, Gianelle and other premium wheels.) Other entertainment included ballers doing their thing on a full size court and performances by Ice Cube, Jim Jones, Ron Browz, Mateo and Pac Div.
