Jaguar has some big plans for their 2012 models, with performance and driving excitement obviously tantamount to their identity as an automotive company. Even at the low end of their lineup, the base model XF sports a 385 horsepower engine, which is good for sprints from 0-62 mph in just 5.5 seconds. At the upper end of the echelon, the all new Jaguar XKR-S enjoys a 550hp 5.0-liter supercharged V8 which elevates it to the status of a supercar and allows it to run from 0-62 mph in just 4.4 seconds.

And let’s not forget about the new Jaguar C-X16 Concept, which manages to extract 375hp from a 3.0-liter V6 and has the same performance as the XKR-S. In any case, there is no doubt that there is some real excitement behind this brand and Jaguar has come up with several short videos to let folks know what’s up with their big cats. Untitled Jersey City Project is a unique experiment in the development of an entertainment concept: it's a work-in-progress television drama. The eight short-form episodes of Untitled Jersey City Project are fragments from a larger story, with many of the story threads left unresolved. But from these eight episodes, this much is clear:

The story is set amidst the fast-developing Jersey City waterfront, just across the river from Manhattan. A shining new city is being built on the edge of this gritty town. But while the glass office towers and condos are sleek and new, the rules of the game haven't changed one bit. Everyone here has something to gain -- money, fame, power. Or they can lose big. The 2012 Toyota Yaris was recently leaked on Gizmodo by way of an "unboxing" video. The documentary style clip shows Adam Frucci going through the process of figuring out how to get at the Yaris which is tucked away inside a car-size box. The campaign slogan is "Toyota - it's a car." The premise surrounds the basic nature of the car and the fact that it has round wheels, a honkable horn, windows that go up and down and a glove box the size of a burrito. The packaging draws you in but it's Adam's unique sense of humor in calling out the obvious features of the car that makes the video fun and moves it along. Inevitably those commercials that get nixed before ever being broadcast are often some of our favorites. In the 'Not for Public Consumption' bin are often true gems. Take this video for example --- a super sexy advertisement for Bennetts Bike Insurance in the UK.  We never get tired of watching hot bikini models washing motorcycles (or anything really for that matter) and if it falls into our wheelhouse we are even that more captivated.
