We all know by now that the 2011 Lexus LFA is not only fantastic looking but a beast on any race track. Many of you have seen the Top Gear LFA test drive, official production video from Lexus has been all over the net, and various magazines and media outlets have taken a stab at driving the LFA on enclosed courses.
But what we have yet to see is the Lexus LFA supercar doing its thing on public city roads. EVO magazine has taken the opportunity to show us this and for that we are truly grateful. Check out the video after the jump.

Jay Leno has been making a lot of waves in the television world lately. Watching him toy with and tease Conan O'Brien has left a sour taste in my mouth, yet the constant stream of videos of Jay behind the wheel of the newest sports cars is something I can't turn away from. This video is no different. On an early December morning, Jay met up with Motor Trend, who handed him the keys to the new and oh-so-sweet Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Jay mosies the car up into the Los Angeles mountains, and takes us on a tour of what he refers to as Los Angeles' hidden race-track.
Unless you live on that island from Castaway, you know what the Nissan GTR is capable of... We all know it goes, stops and turns as well as almost anything on the planet today. Its computer system is so advanced it could probably give you an MRI while taking you around the Nurburghing in under 8 minutes. Well the guys at Motor Trend may have found its achilles heal; drifting. Teamed up with Scion's drift team and Streetfire.net, Motor Trend is pitting Godzilla against purpose-built Formula D cars. The video shows you what happens when the Nissan GTR tries to emulate two of the best purpose-built drift cars around, and how well those cars fair against the GTR in Motor Trend's standard performance tests. Check out the video after the jump...
Ever do something that was perfectly safe, totally harmless, and fun for all parties involved, yet somehow made you feel bad? That is how I feel when I watch this video. Snow drifting is to me what adopting children is to Brangelina; I do it as often as possible, wherever possible, and don't care what people think of it. And yet, this video makes me feel dirty. A Rolls Royce Phantom power sliding in the snow just feels wrong.
Who builds the fastest exotic car? Ferrari? Bugatti? Zonda? How about, North Carolina. It's the home of Underground Racing. A small company of only 9 employees, started by brothers KC and Kevin Howeth. They grew up in a family of stock car racers and dragsters, but thankfully they realized it's more fun to drive a turbo exotic than to turn left. They opened a shop a few years ago and were soon building the fastest Vipers in the country.
But the Howeth's hit their stride when someone brought them a Lamborghini Gallardo and asked them do what they could. Their bays have been filled with Italian bulls ever since, with turbochargers and intercooler piping lining the shelves, waiting for new homes. In particular, they built one very special, very very fast Gallardo. In fact, the Underground Racing Lamborghini Gallardo is the fastest Lambo in the world. Watch the video after the jump.
The 2010 Audi R8 V10 5.2 FSI Quattro Spyder first made its official debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Sporting the same 5.2-liter V10 engine from the Coupe, power is rated at 525 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque. The car tops out at 194 mph and can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds.
Audi has just released a new promo video for its new supercar convertible and it makes us want to go rob a bank. Check out the ad after the jump along with a full photo gallery.
The first time we saw a car do a corkscrew was when Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear pulled some G's in a Renault Twingo in a tunnel in Belfast. Now, the folks at Mercedes-Benz have performed the same feat using their new supercar, the SLS AMG Gullwing. Whether or not this video is real is debatable. The SLS seems to maintain some pretty excessive hangtime upside down. We'll have an update if there is ever confirmation, but for now just enjoy the footage after the jump.
When the buzz around the new Lexus LFA came to a boil in 2009 I only had one thought: When will Top Gear get to test it? Sure there are Nurburgring numbers, dyno tests, weight specs, building costs, etc., but Top Gear puts you inside the car. When they test a car, you learn about more than just the molecules that make the car. And they always leave an impression. I don't know many 'Ring times but I could tell you more than a handful of Power Board lap-times.When the Lexus LFA finally became available to the public, I knew it was only a matter of time.
Well Happy New Year everyone, Top Gear is starting things off on the right foot. Richard Hammond takes the helm of Japan's new $375,000 super-car. With a price that rivals Russian Space travel, I was all ears to hear what my favorite Brits had to say. And, if you don't live in a country that broadcasts the latest Top Gear, and you have a moral objection to illegally downloading automotive cinematic gospel, we have provided the clips for you. Watch below as Richard tests the newest applicant to the club of supercars and answers the big question: Is it really worth the money?
