Today, the North Coast Triumph Association hosted its 18th Annual British Car Show at Shaker Square, in Cleveland, Ohio. The event was located on the green space inside the inner quadrants of the historic district and featured a wide variety of classic, vintage and modern vehicles of UK origin. There was a nice mixture of brands such as Jaguar, Aston Martin, Austin Healey, MG, Lotus, Triumph, Rolls Royce, Morgan and DeLorean.
The event was well attended by both local townsfolk and residents from nearby states. MG was the featured marque and had models as far the way back as 1962 and as recent as 1980. The Triumph contingent was impressive with many examples of TR2, TR3, TR6 (from 1969 to 1976), TR7, TR8 as well as plenty of Spitfires from 1962 to 1980. Some of the cool standouts included a mint 1953 Jaguar XK120, 1967 MGB, 1974 Lotus Europa and an all original DeLorean.
The 2009 British Car Show in Cleveland, Ohio, is a must attend event for automotive enthusiasts into classic autos from the United Kingdom, and if you are in the area next year, you should definitely check it out.
