Breitling Bentley B06 S Chronograph is Mesh for Fantasy
When it comes to automaker-branded watches, the Bentley labeled ones from Breitling are among the classiest under the sun. The two companies are both obsessed with blending Old World craftsmanship with dapper style, so it’s not exactly a surprise that they’ve partnered on the conception of countless timepieces over the years. And their latest offspring – the Breitling Bentley B06 S Chronograph – keeps the trend going.
As you might have surmised from the name, it’s a smaller (44mm, to be exact) version of the B06, and features a bezel that’s been machined to create a knurled pattern that evokes the mesh of a Bentley automobile’s grille. The dial of the watch also incorporates a mesh grille pattern, as well a trio of chronometersthat are claimed accurate to an eighth of a second and are enclosed behind a glare-proof sapphire crystal (A similar one seals the back of the case.).
Breitling will offer the Bentley B06 S Chronograph in a variety of color and finish combinations for both the case and dial, though we’re quite partial to the red gold case and black dial. Then again, the stainless steel with the black dial is quite fetching, too…
